Therapy FAQs

What is CBT and how does it work?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented treatment that focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By identifying and changing unhelpful patterns, you can develop practical skills to manage challenges and improve your daily life.

Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person?

Yes, research consistently shows that tele-health CBT is just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Our HIPAA-compliant video platform ensures a secure, private, and flexible environment for your care.

How long does treatment usually last?

CBT is designed to be time-limited and focused on specific goals. Most clients see significant improvement within 8 to 16 weekly sessions, although the exact duration depends on your individual needs and progress.

Do you accept insurance?

We provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your provider directly to verify your mental health benefits and coverage for tele-health.

What do I need for a virtual session?

You will need a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone. We recommend using headphones for better sound quality and enhanced privacy during your sessions.
